A Romanesque masterpiece in the tufa landscape
The Basilica stands in the heart of the Suppentonia Valley, between the old town and the Sanctuary of Santa Maria ad Rupes. Its three naves, medieval ciborium, marble decoration and Byzantine-inspired frescoes tell centuries of faith, art and community.
Every detail—from the sculpted portal to the Procession of the Virgins—guides visitors through a journey of symbols and light.

Guided visits can be requested on closing days. On wedding days, the Basilica opens to visitors two hours before the ceremony and visits end 30 minutes before it begins.
