The three naves, medieval ciborium, Cosmatesque floors and Byzantine-inspired frescoes provide an authentic setting for a religious wedding. Castel Sant'Elia also invites your guests to discover a historic town in Tuscia, the Suppentonia Valley and the nearby Sanctuary of Santa Maria ad Rupes.

The Municipality manages use of the Basilica

The Municipality of Castel Sant'Elia is responsible for permission to use the Basilica and any venue fee. Availability shown below is indicative until confirmed by the Municipality.

Each day is divided into morning and afternoon. Burgundy slots are booked, yellow slots have an enquiry in progress, and the remaining slots are available for a request.

Visiting hours on wedding days

The Basilica opens to visitors two hours before the ceremony and visits end 30 minutes before it begins.
